Java for Justice

Pisgah Legal Services presents Java for Justice, February 18th through the 24th.

Several local coffee shops have generously contributed to Java for Justice and will be collecting donations
February 18th through the 24th. Even the change from your coffee helps Pisgah Legal Services defend your neighbors in need. Java for Justice coffee shops include:
  • Bruegger’s Bagels on Merrimon Avenue
  • West End Bakery on Haywood Rd in West Asheville
  • Mosaic Café at Biltmore Park Town Square
  • City Bakery Cafe on Biltmore Avenue
  • The French Broad Chocolate Lounge on Lexington Avenue

Every dollar donated helps someone in need – disadvantaged children, victims of domestic violence, families facing homelessness, seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your donation makes a difference:
  • $50 helps protect a child from abuse
  • $100 helps someone facing a terminal illness access health care
  • $150 helps a family avoid eviction from their home and homelessness
  • $250 helps a mother and her children escape domestic violence and rebuild their lives
  • $500 helps a family save their home from foreclosure
