Interstate 40 Westbound in Haywood County in Western North Carolina is shutdown at exit 20 because of a rock slide....just over the border in Tennessee. The Highway Patrol says there's no indication how long the road will be shutdown. The slide occurred at mile marker 451 in Tennessee, just over the border from North Carolina. Motorists should use I-26 from Asheville to Johnson City, Tennessee as a detour route.?
